Level 2 Swim Teacher

The Level 2 Swim Teacher moves onto more advanced training techniques, which focus on fine-tuning techniques and efficiency in the water. More competitive elements are introduced via competitive backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.

      • Candidates with the following valid ​swimming coaching certifications - NROC (Swimming), STA (BTC), Swim Australia (Austswim Level 1).

Prerequisties

  • Minum age: 18 years old

  • Swim ability: 25 meters Individual medley 

  • Achieve: Level 1 swim teacher

Duration

  • Recommended hours for completion: 20-24

  • Apprenticeship training : at least 12 hr

  • The number of classes, hours, and sessions per day are set by the Swim Teacher Instructor, based on the candidate’s needs and ability.

Requirements For Completion

  • Complete all academic sections and assessments as outlined in the Level 2 Swim Teacher Instructor Manual.

  • Complete a Level 2 Swim Teacher final exam with a passing score of 90%.

  • Complete at least twelve (12) hours of apprenticeship training.
